Rahil Anil Barve directorial and Sohum Shah produced Tumbbad has shown a very good stability at box office in 2nd week too. Despite the competition, this mystery horror has managed to find constant footfalls from the crowd and has neared the 8 crore mark in 10 days.

Tumbbad has so far collected 7.75 crore. This is a good hold for a movie that doesn’t have any stars but is standing tall solely on the story. Critics have given it phenomenal reviews and audience has also loved this unique movie, many considering it as one of the best films of 2018.

Tumbbad is a story of greed. Last week, it was the only film which was attracting the crowd in theaters, despite Kajol’s Helicopter Eela and some other films. This week also, Badhaai Ho has taken over the box office but Tumbbad is still getting a good response. It will cross the 8 crore mark in coming days but 10 crore seems a bit far. Nonetheless, this is a good news for the makers who waited for more than 6 years to release this movie and it has got a terrific response.

Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga has now almost ended its theatrical run. Its shows have also reduced to very few due to new releases. With 100 screens available now, this Sharat Kataria directed movie has collected 78.70 crore till now.

It won’t be possible for Sui Dhaaga to cross the 80 crore mark now. It could have done that had Madhya Pradesh not had a cinema strike. However, with 78 crore, it is still one of the most profitable films of 2018. Varun Dhawan has continued his record of successful films in his career; he has not given a single flop yet. Sui Dhaaga has also done well in overseas markets. It has collected 23.63 crore from foreign circuits.
