Salman Khan’s film Tubelight is in its final box office run as the response for it has been dismal right from its opening day. While his films cross the 300 crore mark at domestic market, Tubelight is struggling to even touch the 130 crore mark in its lifetime run.
The weekdays of 2nd week are taking low earnings even to a lower point. It is collecting in the range of 1-1.50 crore which pretty much proves the poor response it has been getting from the audience.
The occupancy for the film on 2nd Tuesday is almost same as its previous day, 5-8% which is negligible. The shows have also been reduced owing to low footfalls.
The earnings are only going to go down from here on. Tubelight will collect around 1.10-1.20 crore on its 12th day. It is looking at a lifetime total of 122-124 crore. Tubelight has got negative review and poor word of mouth and even the crowd who has seen the film is not recommending it.
Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also stars Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu, Matin Rey Tangu, Om Puri and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub. It is based on 1962’s Indo-China war and it shows an emotional relationship between two brothers.
