No one hunts like a tiger and no one brings in the storm in theaters like Salman Khan. With his latest release Tiger Zinda Hai, the box office has been set on fire by one of the most loved superstars of India. Theaters are going packed with crowd going berserk to watch its favorite hero kicking bad guys.

With around 80-90% occupancy throughout the day, Tiger Zinda Hai has smashed many records and will be creating many new ones. The North region has shown a magical response to this action entertainer and UP has been magnificent in terms of footfalls.

Mumbai started slow but picked up record occupancy, which is only bettered by Baahubali 2. Tiger Zinda Hai has recorded 34.10 crore collections on its 1st day. This is a humongous number to mint on a non-holiday and it shows the power and stardom of Salman Khan. TZH has got 4600 screens in India.

This is the Highest Opening Day Collection of 2017 by a Bollywood movie. Baahubali 2 (Hindi version) had collected 41 crore but it was not a Bollywood film. Audience is massive for the movie and it is not stopping anytime soon. Today and tomorrow, it will be witnessing even a bigger growth so you can expect a 40 crore earning range for these two days.

Yash Raj Films should already start celebrating as this storm is here to stay during its long run at box office. Now, all eyes on how much it collects in its opening weekend. 100+ crore should be obvious and if can maintain the momentum in weekdays too, 300 crore milestone is not a far target.

Single screens are more crowded than multiplexes but overall, the craze for the film is seamless. Tiger Zinda Hai is getting compared with Dangal and if it can become Salman’s Highest Grossing Film of All Time by beating Bajrangi Bhaijaan, nothing like it.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar is rising to the top director with each film. His last film Sultan, again with Salman Khan, collected 300 crore and looks like Tiger Zinda Hai might be crossing that landmark too. Truly, Tiger aka Salman Khan is roaring.
