Tubelight, which is a love story set in 1962 Indo-Sino war, is directed by Kabir Khan. Now, the latest buzz is that Tubelight’s All India distribution rights have been sold for a towering amount of 130 crore to NH Studioz. This is Huge!
Central India rights are not included in these as those are retained by Salman’a father Salim Khan. NH Studioz has recently also acquired the rights for Shah Rukh Khan’s yet untitled film.
If the reports are true, Salmans Tubelight has broken the record of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale (2015), whose distribution rights were sold for 125 crore.
It doesn’t come as a surprise as Salman’s films are like a festival for his fans and they always do exceptionally well at box office. His last films Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan are in the list of Highest Grossing Movies of All Time with 300+ crore total.
Tubelight releases this Eid and it also stars Chinese actress Zhu Zhu, Sohail Khan and Om Puri.
