Saif Ali Khan is on a roll currently. With an interesting line up of films in coming months such as Kaalakaandi, Chef and Baazaar, the actor will also be seen in a lead in Netflix’s original TV series ‘Sacred Games’.
Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chanrda’s book by the same name and it will be shot in India. It’s a crime genre and Saif is surely going to give a dark and effective performance in the series.

The series will be co-produced by Phantom Films. Saif will be playing the role of Sartaj Singh. Saif said in a statement, “Content in the digital space is taking over the existing dynamics at a rapid pace – the crown in the digital empire lies with Netflix, and it’s extremely satisfying to partner and participate in the first original series from India to be showcased on Netflix.”
“Saif Ali Khan is a true pioneer and risk-taker in Indian cinema, and we could not be more delighted to be working with him on ‘Sacred Games’,” said Erik Barmack, Vice President of international original series at Netflix.
