‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams‘, a film on Sachin Tendulkar’s life, has witnessed a good occupancy in its morning shows. Despite being a documentary, the crowd has shown a very impressive turn up which even regular films of 2017 couldn’t attract.
Sachin is considered as god of cricket in India so it was obvious that everyone wants to experience his life and get inspired. ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ has shown an occupancy of 30-35% and by the afternoon and evening shows, it will get even better, somewhere around 60-70%.
The movie shows Sachin’s cricketing journey right from his childhood to present day and Sachin himself is narrating it so the billions of fans are naturally excited to see it.
The highest run scorer in the history of cricket, Sachin can also score a century though his film. The trend over the weekend will be outstanding.
Directed by James Erskine, ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ has opened in 2400 screens in India and in 400 screens overseas.
