‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams‘ has shown a fair growth on its 2nd day. After witnessing a strong occupancy on its opening day, the audience turned up in good numbers on 2nd day too, to watch their favorite batsman’s life journey in theaters,
‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ collected 9.20 crore on its 1st Saturday to make its total 17.60 crore (for all languages). Considering it is a documentary, these are really impressive numbers. India doesn’t have any good track record for documentaries. It’s Sachin Tendulkar, the legendary batsman, who is pulling all the crowd to the theaters.
The film will have 25+ crore opening weekend. Sachin Tendulkar has billions of fans in India and across the world so the buzz for the film was naturally high. The theaters are turning into stadiums as fans are going back in time of 90’s as since then, he is ruling the cricket world by his unbeatable batting capabilities.
‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ shows Sachin’s early life as a child, his passion and love for cricket, the achievements, problems and his undying attitude to win the world cup for India, narrated by Sachin himself. It is directed by James Erskine.
