Sachin: A Billion Dreams has won the crucial Monday test. After witnessing a very good opening weekend, it also saw a good occupancy on its 4th day. Considering it a documentary drama, the numbers are better than most of the commercial films of 2017.
The film collected 4.20 crore on its 1st Monday and its 4 days total is now 32.25 crore. The crowd has given it a strong response otherwise India doesn’t have a decent track record for a documentary.
If Sachin: A Billion Dreams can maintain this earning pace throughout the 1st week, it can mint around 45 crore. Narrated by Sachin Tendulkar himself, the film talks about Sachin’s cricketing journey from childhood to present with untold stories of his life.
Sachin has billions of fans in India alone and fans went nostalgic while watching their favorite batsman of all time. It is directed by James Erskine and its music is composed by A. R. Rahman.
