The worst nightmare of any parent is what if their child home alone ends up hurting himself/herself. Well, that is the plot Pihu is all set to explore. The riveting thriller based on a true story is out with its first official trailer, which is gut-wrenching.

The film is directed by journalist-turned-National award winning director Vinod Kapri, who shared the trailer on social media.

Vinod Kapri dropped the trailer on his social media profile. He captioned it, “FINALLY!! Here is the link of #PihuTrailer. Pls take out 2 minutes to watch and if you like, pls spread the word and share & if you don’t like , then also feel free to share your thoughts. @roykapurfilms @RSVPMovies @RonnieScrewvala #SidRoyKapur”

This is the first-of-its-kind film to have a two-year-old protagonist throughout the film. The social thriller revolves around a two-year baby girl, who lives in a home where the adults are going through a complicated phase. Being a toddler, she is occasionally trapped in accidental situations.

The film stars Myra Vishwakarma and Prerna Vishwakarma.

Pihu has received accolades at various international film festivals. The producer duo of Screwvala and Kapur, who in their UTV days had left behind a legacy of path-breaking content-driven movies like “The Lunchbox” and “Khosla Ka Ghosla,” are elated to be presenting the unique film.

“Pihu” was selected as an official entry for prestigious international film festivals that include Vancouver, Palm Springs, Iran, Morocco, and Germany. The film also went on to win the Best Film at Morocco and was the opening film at the International Film Festival of India, Goa (2017), where it received rave reviews.

The movie releases on 16th November 2018.
