The records continue to get broken by Padmaavat as it is cruising with milestones after milestones at Indian as well as global box office. Audience across the world has loved the movie and it is clearly evident in its collections which are phenomenal. Padmaavat has crossed the 400 crore mark already on the worldwide box office.
This magnum opus, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, has collected 224 crore (nett.) at domestic box office. The gross amount of it is 286 crore. Padmaavat has collected incredible 138 crore from overseas markets with North America and Australia being the impressive contributors for the movie.
The worldwide box office total of Padmaavat is now around 424 crore. It is now in the list of top 10 highest worldwide grossing Bollywood films of all time. What’s more amazing is that these collections are without some states like Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh so just imagine if the film would have been released there as well, what more milestones it could have achieved.
By today, Padmaavat will be beating Chennai Express at Indian market. It is the highest grossing film of both Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh already and is the 2nd highest grosser of Deepika Padukone. Padmaavat has given a great start to Bollywood in 2018 and it will be easily maintaining its spot in the top grossers of 2018 list.
This Friday, Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man will be releasing but Padmaavat will still be retaining a good screen count as it is getting a good response even in its 2nd week. 250 crore mark will be neared or crossed by the end of 2nd weekend in India.
