Karan Johar can finally take a sigh of relief as his film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil finally gets a nod from MNS. On Saturday, Karan Johar and Producers’ Guild President Mukesh Bhatt met Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis at his residence. MNS chief Raj Thackeray, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s producers Sidharth Roy Kapur, Sajid Nadiadwala and Vijay Singh of Fox Star Studios were also present at the meeting.
Karan Johar and Mukesh Bhatt assured that filmmakers would not work with Pakistani artistes as it hurt the sentiments of Indians post Uri attacks.
After the meeting, Mukesh Bhatt told reporters that the meeting was positive and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil will release as per the schedule. Karan Johar has also decided to put a special mention in the beginning of the film to pay a tribute to Uri martyrs. Karan’s film will contribute a part of its revenue to Army Welfare Fund.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil releases on 28th October, 2016.
