Taapsee Pannu’s spy action flick Naam Shabana is earning at a decent pace at box office. In 4 days, it has crossed the 20 crore mark. Now, it is expected to collect in the same range for the 1st week.
What lies ahead is an amazing opportunity for this film to mint good chunk of money. Coincidentally, both the films which were scheduled to release on 7th April, i.e. Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar 3 and Ranbir Kapoor-Katrina Kaif’s Jagga Jasoos, have been postponed.
This means Naam Shabana has open 2nd week too, which will give it an extended window to add as much collection as possible. Adil Hussain’s Mukti Bhawan is very low in buzz so it won’t have any impact when it will release this week.
Audience will once again show good footfalls for this Shivam Nair directorial in 2nd week. The film has got good to average reviews but the town crowd is giving it a brilliant response which will continue for some days. Another vital aspect is that Akshay Kumar’s fans will help the film collect strong number by turning up in 2nd weekend too.
Overall, this is a welcome chance for the makers and they will definitely capitalize on it as 7 extra days will give a significant push to its total.
