Anees Bazmee’s film Mubarakan has shown a good growth on 2nd day at box office. As expected, the families came in strong numbers for its shows. The film had taken an average opening but 2nd day earnings have brought some hopes.
Mubarakan has collected 7.38 crore on its 1st Saturday, making its total 12.63 crore. The good thing is that it is showing a better occupancy and footfalls on Sunday, so we can again see some growth on 3rd day. The move has got 2350 screens in India.
Mubarakan will touch the 20 crore mark in its opening weekend. Although, much better performance was expected from this family entertainer, the fact that it is witnessing a growth hints it can sustain in coming days.
Reviews for the film are fairly good so it can have healthy weekdays too. The biggest issue is that it only has 1 week to mint maximum money after which Jab Harry Met Sejal will be grabbing most of the screens.
This Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor starrer doesn’t have any competition as Indu Sarkar is not performing well and previous week release Munna Michael has gone down. Let’s see how it behaves at box office in coming days.
