It is said that you choose the films based on your nature. Well, it is true in the case of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. Kangana might be seen in the film which is based on Chetan Bhagat’s latest novel named ‘One Indian Girl’. The book is not yet launched but according to Mumbai Mirror, the Queen actress received the manuscript of the novel a month ago and as she read it, she liked the urban character of the woman and the feminism angle.
Kangana also called Chetan and praised him for his brilliant writing. She said that she would definitely be playing the lead if he happened to turn the book into a film. Kangana is known for her independent thinking in the industry and that’s why she is looking so excited for this role.
Chetan Bhagat spoke to Mirror and said that it is a huge compliment for him that Kangana praised his book and he is thankful for her joining.
One Indian Girl is about a successful woman who finds it difficult to find love in a modern city. The book also shows how for a woman, being independent and successful is often a drawback in the society. Kangana will next be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon.
