Hrithik Roshan’s film Kaabil is hitting the theaters on 25th January, 2017. The film is a love story and revenge quest which also stars Yami Gautam and Ronit Roy. It is directed by Sanjay Gupta.

Here’s our Music Review on Kaabil:

Music Director: Rajesh Roshan

Lyrics: Nasir Faraaz, Manoj Muntashir, Anjaan

Kaabil Hoon

Rajesh Roshan brings back the traditional 90’s romance with Kaabil Hoon song. This is a sweet and lovely track with playful beats. Jubin Nautiyal and Palak Muchhal graciously croon the track and give it an innocent feel which is joyful for every romantic situation.  This is a perfect title track to have for a film.

Haseeno Ka Deewana

Haseeno Ka Deewana is not a bad song but compared to the original ‘Saara Zamaana’ from Yaarana, it doesn’t do much justice. Payal Dev has sung an impressive track with high energy. Rapping from Raftaar is ignorable and the beats are average. Overall, not-so-bad-not-so -great type of song.

Kuch Din

Kuch Din is a soft and affectionate song. This is another brilliant composing by Rajesh Roshan which takes us back to 90’s musical era. Jubin Nautiyal’s singing makes this one a pleasant and melodious song. The slow unfolding of musical instruments and their core contribution to the beats is a delight. Manoj Muntashir’s precise lyrics are relatable for romantic context.

Mon Amour

Vishal Dadlani’s voice has that spark which induces you to dive into the song. Mon Amour is a foot tapping party number for love birds to fly with love. It has fully enjoyable beats which keep the momentum constantly high. It is always good to witness when lyrics, singing and beats are in a perfect sync with each other. Mon Amour is that perfect sync.

Kisi Se Pyaar Ho Jaye

This is how you recreate an old classic song. The song has a lovely start and then picks up smooth pace, giving full justice to the original. Jubin Nautiyal is a charm to listen. Kisi Se Pyaar Ho Jaye has immensely likable background music, beautifully woven by Rajesh Roshan. This track is worth staying in your playlist for a long time.

Conclusion:

Rajesh Roshan takes us back to 90’s musical era with simple and clean composing. Kaabil is a lovely album which is rich in innocent love, core romance and party tracks, a comprehensive treat for music fans.
