Go Pagal

Go Pagal is a perfect Holi song. Full party beats, crazy and energetic tempo justify the title of the song. The song has fun lyrics too. It is a desi dance inducer. Raftaar’s voice is engaging and Nindy Kaur does well to give the song a complete joy.

Bawara Mann

Jubin Nautiyal’s singing in Kaabil won people’s hearts and with this song, he is continuing his impressive singing momentum. Bawara Mann is melodious and keeps smile on your face with its gentle music. It has a pleasant feel and Jubin’s soft voice adds beauty to it. Neeti Mohan complements the song with her sweet voice. Chirrantan Bhatt kept it simple and didn’t try to overdo the music due to which the track became smooth to listen and charming.

Jolly Good Fellow

It would have been better had the music director come up with an original composing for the title track. Jolly Good Fellow is recreational version of the popular track by the same name. But this one doesn’t have any uniqueness. The rapping is avoidable. Meet Bros need to improvise with their composing. The song has the same tempo throughout and it doesn’t give much enjoyment.

O Re Rangreza

O Re Rangreza starts with an amazing spiritual energy but then goes very dull and low in beats. The song should have achieved greatness with Sukhwinder Singh’s voice but it doesn’t, due to the lack of passion in the beats and Vishal Khurana’s music. When you hear a Qawaali, it’s always soothing but this track doesn’t reach that threshold. One can hope the song will have a good value in the movie.

Verdict:

Jolly LLB 2’s music album is not impressive. Bawara Mann is the only song which seems like a matured one and Go Pagal is energetic but other two songs are simply ordinary. Overall, the album lacks variety and sound musical vibe. A deeper effort was required in composing.
