After witnessing a below expectation opening day, Jab Harry Met Sejal is not looking impressive on 2nd day as well. Its morning occupancy is almost similar to its opening day, only with a fraction of improvement. The poor reviews and negative word of mouth is taking effect as audience is now having second thoughts about this romantic movie.
So far, the morning occupancy for JHMS is around 45%. The concern is that its afternoon and evening bookings are very average. Of course, it can change in coming hours as families and youngsters will be turning up for the shows.
With hardly any appreciation and recommendation, there are chances that Jab Harry Met Sejal might not take a big growth today, i.e. Saturday. The first thing it needs to do is take a growth at first place on 2nd day. Otherwise, it might suffer a number which is lesser than its opening day.
JHMS has got 3200-3400 screens in India. Till now, its prospects are not looking favorable. If by the end of the day, its occupancy doesn’t improve upto 75-80%, a healthy rise in numbers won’t be on the cards.
Another concern is that Jab Harry Met Sejal is not a mass population movie so it only has hopes from multiplexes of metro cities and even there, its footfalls are not big. You certainly expect massive crowd for Shah Rukh Khan’s film. Let’s see how JHMS fares on 2nd day.
