Amitabh Bachchan, who is currently gearing up for ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, says he has begin sharing his scripts with his daughter Shweta Bachchan-Nanda to gain new perceptive.
Amitabh Bachchan interacted with media at the launch of daughter Shweta’s debut novel ‘Paradise Towers’ alongside Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Karan Johar on Wednesday.
Big B, after unveiling the book, shared some insight into Shweta’s personality. He said, “She is also very perceptive about observations and I do rely on her many times as just a rest of the family on many incidents that may happen within the city, home, country, and world. She has an opinion. Many times, we discuss the outcome of a film that I may have done or a film that she may have seen. I have to say that she is always been right. When she says the film is going to do well, it does well and when she says it’s not going to do well, it doesn’t.”
“I have begun to share some of my scripts with her. I am afraid, I couldn’t do that earlier on and I want to be excused for that but recently she has been extremely helpful and very perceptive in giving me ideas and thoughts on what I was working on.”
Wishing her the best, he added, “I can only give my love and blessings to Shweta and I am thankful to each and everyone for their presence to encourage her to grow not just as my daughter but as a woman and a lady.”
On the work front, Bachchan next will be seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ along with Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead roles. One of his next projects also includes, ‘Badla’ with Pink costar Taapsee Pannu.
‘Thugs of Hindostan’ is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and produced by Yash Raj Films, it is scheduled to release on November 8, 2018.
