Horror movies have always been a high point at Indian box office. This year, Annabelle: Creation proved that as it did close to 50 crore business in India. Following on those footsteps, there is another horror one ‘IT’ which is now attracting good footfalls in theaters, more than Poster Boys and Daddy.
IT has not great screen count in India yet it has managed to touch the 10 crore mark in 5 days. The reviews for ‘IT’ are great and being a scary film, audience is naturally going for it.

Sunday – 3.03 crore

Total Collections – 10.07 crore
IT has taken a record breaking earnings worldwide. Its collections are close to $200 million globally. Its opening weekend collections are also the highest for a horror movie in the world.
Based on Stephen King’s novel by the same name, IT is directed by Andy Muschietti. It is a story of a clown Pennywise, who is a villain and he abducts the children. The movie stars Bill Skarsgård, Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer and Nicholas Hamilton.
