Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is in fresh trouble now as the Cinema Owners and Exhibitors Association of India (COEAI) recently announced that films featuring Pakistani actors won’t be released across the country. Nitin Dadar, the President of COEAI said that it was decided keeping in mind the patriotic feeling and national interest. He has also requested all the members exhibitors to refrain from screening the movies which involves Pakistani actors, technicians, or musicians or directors.
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil has Pakistani actor Fawad Khan doing a small role due to which the film is facing a lot of hurdles. Earlier, MNS had also warned Karan Johar about the issue. Looks like, the film is getting a lot of obstructions.
The requests for ban on Pakistani actors came when on September 18, 18 of our soldiers died fighting against the terrorists attack in Uri. Indian soldiers also carried out the surgical strike after that attack, destroying terrorist pads in Pakistani region.
It is only 2 weeks to Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s release. Let’s see if gets released on the scheduled date.
