He comes once in two years and breaks all the records of that time span. With every film, Aamir Khan proves that no one can beat him in terms of content driven movies and box office records. His latest film Dangal has crossed the 300 crore mark in just 13 days. Dangal’s total collections are 304.38 crore.
With these numbers, Dangal has surpassed the lifetime collections of Salman Khan’s Sultan (300.45 crore). Dangal is now the Highest Grossing Film of 2016. This is a grand achievement for the film as it is only 13 days old at box office and is still running very healthy. Interesting thing is that Sultan took 35 days to reach 300 crore and its opening week collections had a huge advantage of Eid holiday while Dangal didn’t have such benefits, still it has smashed all the records and won the hearts of the Indian audience.
All eyes are now on how much lifetime collections Dangal ends up earning. 350 crore is already achievable for the film now. It will be the first Bollywood film ever to do that in India.
