For Aamir Khan‘s films, the content, box office and milestones go hand in hand. With each passing day in China, Dangal is rewriting the rules for Indian films and is climbing new frontiers there as well as at global box office.

Dangal has now become the First Indian Film to Collect $200 Million from Overseas Markets. It’s a record that will be enormously difficult to match or break for a long time. This is no surprise as Dangal is dominating the China box office for the last 1 month, despite new releases.

This is the break up of Dangal’s Collections from Overseas Territory:

Rest of the Overseas Market – $30.70 million

China – $168.84 million (Still running)

Taiwan – $5.60 million

Total Overseas Collections: $205.14 million (1319.97 crore)

It’s a glorious moment for all Indians as our film is not just a domestic rage but a worldwide phenomenon. Aamir Khan has always been at a forefront at taking Indian cinema to greater levels. Dangal is the Highest Grossing Indian Film of All Time globally.

Before China Release – 742 crore

China – 1087.58 crore

Taiwan – 36.50 crore

Total Collections – 1866.08 crore

Soon, Dangal will be touching thee 2000 crore mark globally if it continues its dream run in China. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, it also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar.
