Saif Ali Khan’s Chef has hit the theaters from today. With a decent buzz and a good number of screens (1570 in India), the film has got an appreciable screen economics but it is witnessing a slow start at box office.
The 1st day morning box office occupancy for Chef is around 10% which is low, considering the stardom of Saif Ali Khan. However, Chef is a urban film and it is more of a content driven film rather than a star oriented so it will pick up the pace by the evening or over the weekend, provided it gets a positive word of mouth.
