Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon starrer Raabta is a love story which covers the aspect of reincarnation. The trailer of the film had mixed response; some liked it while some started comparing it with Rajamouli’s Magadheera.
Despite doing a heavy promotion, Raabta’s buzz is decent to good. However, its music is positively received and the romantic chemistry between Sushant and Kriti will be an attracting point for youngsters. After his remarkable performance in M. S. Dhoni – The Untold Story, audience is curious to watch Sushant in different roles.
Raabta is majorly targeted towards young crowd and it will get a maximum response from multiplexes. Its reincarnation narrative needs to be convincing otherwise the film won’t see a good response. Raabta can take an opening of around 6 crore as it will have a majority of screen count this week. It will see a good occupancy from morning shows but if the word of mouth is negative, evening shows will be drastically affected.
Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan’s Behen Hogi Teri‘s trailer was liked by the audience as it was funny and light hearted. The songs, although good, have not really raised its appeal in movie community.
This might be the first time Rajkummar Rao is seen in an out and out commercial film. The story of Behen Hogi Teri is funny and romantic so youngsters might prefer it. The film can be a surprise package as Rajkummar Rao is known to choose sensible scripts.
The occupancy for the film in morning shows will be dull as the awareness for it is not big but if its story connects with audience, it will see improvement in afternoon and evening shows. Behen Hogi Teri will open with around 1-2 crore.
