Riteish Deshmukh’s Bank Chor has released this Friday. Without much buzz and awareness, there are not many expectations from the film and it is evident in its morning shows.
Bank Chor has witnessed a dull occupancy with around 7-8% fill rate which is never a good sign. Being a comedy film, the crowd might turn up in afternoon and evening shows but it won’t be decent as it only has 700 screens available in India.
The only hope is if it gets a good word of mouth and positive reviews then audience may get some awareness about it. Riteish’s previous film Banjo had a better occupancy due to its mainstream story and good music.
Moreover, this week is a dull period for Bollywood as most of Indians are awaiting the big release of Salman Khan’s Tubelight next week.
