It’s amazing how Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan’s latest romantic film Badrinath Ki Dulhania has ruled the box office. Right from its opening day, it has shown impressive occupancy across the country and it entered the 100 crore club in 2 weeks.
The film is witnessing a drop in collections as the buzz for it has reduced in 3rd week. However, it is still earning fairly to keep its box office run alive. Badrinath Ki Dulhania collected approximately 1.10 crore on its 3rd Tuesday to make its grand total of around 110 crore in 19 days.
BKD witnessed a good crowd in Maharashtra on Tuesday as there was a Gudi-Padwa holiday. Touching the 110 crore landmark is a great achievement for the film and Alia-Varun have proven their worth as their chemistry have scored a hat-trick with BKD after Student of The Year and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania might lose most of its screens after 3rd week as Taapsee Pannu’s Naam Shabana will be taking over. BKD is directed by Shashank Khaitan and it is the second film in the franchise.
