S. S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 is constantly earning in big amount and even in the 2nd week, its collections have not gone down below 10 crore, proving the buzz and interest level high in audience.
The occupancy for the movie was around 55-60% across the country and there was also a partial holiday of Buddha Poornima. Baahubali 2 (Hindi) has collected 17 crore on its 2nd Wednesday to make its total of 376.75 crore in 13 days.
Within couple of days, it will beat Aamir Khan’s Dangal total of 387 crore to become the highest grossing film in India (Hindi version). Currently, it is the 2nd highest grosser. Baahubali 2’s earning trend is better than that of Dangal so far and it is also on course to open the 400 crore club for Hindi movies, the first time ever.
This is a big statement from the makers of Baahubali 2 as the film has broken almost all box office records and has set new ones. It will be interesting to see how the new releases this Friday overcome the competition from Baahubali 2.
Directed by S. S. Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj.
