Gone are the days when our films used to just compete at domestic box office. This is a new era and a greater time for Indian cinema as two of our biggest blockbusters Baahubali 2 and Dangal are neck to neck at worldwide box office and are ruling the global audience with their amazing stories.
Baahubali 2 has already crossed the 1500 crore mark and is now eyeing for 1600 crore in coming days. On the other hand, Aamir Khan’s Dangal is smashing the records in China and has collected a total of 755 crore there.
Here are Baahubali 2’s Worldwide Box Office Collections:
Nett. – 994 crore
Gross: 1280 crore
Overseas: 294 crore
Total Collections: 1574
It’s amazing how Baahubali 2 has made India proud as all the fans from foreign countries have loved the film. In USA, it is the highest grossing Indian film of all time with more than $20 million collections (129.16 crore). It is currently the highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Dangal has created a havoc at Chinese box office and it is already the top grossing Indian film in China and also the highest grossing non-Hollywood film there. Dangal is now cruising towards Baahubali 2 global total.
Here are Dangal’s Worldwide Box Office Collections:
Before China release: 742 crore
China – 755 crore
Taiwan – 25 crore
Total Collections: 1522 crore
Dangal has gone past the 1500 crore landmark. It is now the first Bollywood and 2nd Indian film to do so. In Taiwan too, it has become the top grossing Indian film of all time.
The interesting thing is that, Baahubali 2’s earning pace has slowed down in India as well as in overseas markets while Dangal is earning massively in China, with 20+ crore getting added everyday. In coming days, it will definitely surpass Baahubali 2’s worldwide total to become the Highest Grossing Indian Film of All Time.
From 26th May, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is releasing in China but if Dangal shows a good hold even after that, then it can even touch the 1000 crore mark in China alone.
Whatever may be the collections of these two grand films, they have brought pride and glory to Indian cinema and that’s the most important thing.
