Karan Johar directorial Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is constantly in the news because of the Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. There had been a lot of protests and even calls to ban the film, especially from MNS. On that front, Mukesh Bhatt, President of Film and Television Producers Guild of India, met a Mumbai Police representative today, to ensure that the theaters who will screen Ae Dil Hai Mushkil remain safe.
Last week, COEAI had announced that the single theater owners won’t release ADHM due to the Pakistani actor in it. CEO of Fox Star Studios, one of the producers for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, also met the DCP of Mumbai Ashok Dudhe. Dudhe said that Mumbai police will provide adequate protection to cinema theaters as and when required.
ADHM stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan. It is slated to release on 28th October, 2016 and will clash with Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay.
