It’s that season of Bollywood when every day old box office records are broken and new ones are created. Aamir Khan’s Dangal has created a storm which was needed for the last 2 months. Dangal has collected a total of 132.43 crore so far in just 4 days. The film still has many more days to go so the collections are not going to stop soon.
With these numbers, Dangal has now beaten the lifetime collections of Airlift (129 crore), Rustom (127.42 crore), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (112.14 crore) and Housefull 3 (107.70 crore). It’s very rare that you see these lifetime collections beaten by a film in only 4 days. Dangal is now the 3rd Highest Earning Film of 2016. It is only 42 lacs behind M. S. Dhoni – The Untold Story‘s collections which are already surpassed today as you are reading this article.
Now, the most obvious question is whether Aamir Khan’s Dangal will beat the collections of Salman Khan’s Sultan (300.45 crore). Dangal is directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
