Aamir Khan proves it again why he is respected so much in India. His last film Dangal was scheduled to release in Pakistan but the Censor Board there wanted the scenes of Indian flag and Indian National Anthem to be removed from the film. But, Aamir Khan refused to do that. What a great decision by him.
Aamir reportedly said that the scenes of Indian flag and national anthem are crucial to the film. It is now upto the local distributors to release the film but the makers of Dangal won’t cut the scenes.
A couple of months ago, the ban on Indian movies in Pakistan was lifted. Dangal is a biopic on Mahavir Singh Phogat, who trained his daughters Geeta and Babita to become the world class wrestling champions.
Dangal became one the most successful Indian films. Audience of all ages loved the story and Aamir’s performance. The film collected 387 crore and it is the highest grossing Bollywood movie of all time. It is directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
