She did a small role in 2015 Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Baby’ but she definitely managed to make a mark through it. Then came a socially relevant film of today’s times ‘Pink‘ which brought the Bollywood cinema world to Taapsee’s acting prowess.

Having done multiple films already in South Indian cinema, Taapsee won the hearts of critics as well audiences with ‘Pink’. Her brilliant portrayal of a bold and brave girl Meenal who fights against the injustice and abuse that happens with women as thought provoking. Taapsee proved that she is not going to be just a pretty face in Bollywood and she means real acting projects.

The hardwork and patience is paying off for the talented actress as 2017 is looking highly promising for her with more than 4 films lined up. Taapsee had a small role in India’s first war-at-sea film ‘The Ghazi Attack‘.

The actress was last seen in a romantic comedy film ‘RunningShaadi‘ in which she was paired opposite Amit Sadh. Talk about versatility and choosing good scripts and Taapsee is smart on that one. After the success of ‘Baby’, Neeraj Pandey decided to make a prequel to the film and give Taapsee Pnanu a lead in it. ‘Naam Shabana‘ is that prequel and we will see Taapsee in a full action packed avatar wherein she will be delivering the role of spy and ready to kick bad guys.

In September, the actress will be trying her hand in comedy film ‘Judwaa 2‘ screened against Varun Dhawan. There is another project she is involved with which is titled ‘Tadka’. While not much is revealed abut the film, but it is directed by Prakash Raj.

All these films are a statement that Taapsee Pannu is proving her versatility and also is pretty serious in making a good contribution to the cinema. We wish her a good luck with her acting endeavors.
